The festive season is the perfect time for you to showcase your creativity and bring a touch of festive cheer to your clients' nails. This Christmas holly nail art is a timeless design that combines elegance and festive spirit, making it perfect for clients during December. In this blog, we’ll guide you through a step-by-step process to create stunning holly-inspired nails. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to nail art, this design is sure to wow your clients and elevate your skills. Get your brushes ready, and let’s dive into this merry masterpiece!

STEP 1

Apply JimmyGel Boomer White as a base, cure for 60 seconds. Paint one third of the nail with Cranberry Craze ButterCream. Cure for 60 seconds before using a liner brush to paint a Bronzey Baby ButterCream line between the white and red.

STEP 2

Apply a layer of Flat Matte, cure for 60 seconds. Lightly paint a thin line of GI Jane ButterCream, followed by 8 dots using the #2 Stylus. Do not cure.

STEP 3

Drag the dots towards the centre line using a liner brush, cure for 60 seconds. Add 3 red dots using Cranberry Craze to create the berries, cure for 60 seconds.

STEP 4

Add extra leaves to extend the design to fit the length of the nail using GI Jane, cure for 60 seconds. On the outside leaves, add 3 red dots close together using Cranberry Craze to create more berries, cure for 60 seconds.

STEP 5

Add a small amount of Little Red Sled Glitter Gel on top of the Cranberry Craze to add some sparkle to the berries using the #2 Stylus. Cure for 60 seconds.

STEP 6

Apply Super Shiny Top Coat to complete the design, cure for 60 seconds. Allow to cool for 30-60 seconds before cleansing the surface for the highest shine finish.

Top Tip - To smooth the surface of the nail, apply a layer of SkinnyJimmy before the Super Shiny.
